What is the story on football tickets for students? How do you get them? How hard are they to get?

70 dollars for home game pass. You can purchase during orientation

Thanks. I've seen that for the pass, but how do you get tickets for a game? The website mentioned something about a draw or something like that. How does that work?

For home games there is no lotto, for the Red River Shootout you get wristbands. You pay the money, and the seats are reserved, easy as that. You print out the tickets on game day and that's it.

This is $70 on top of the longhorn all sports pass to guarantee you will have a ticket for all home football games?

(The UT vs. A&M game is a home game over Thanksgiving weekend.)

Yes you will get the UT A&M game tickets as well.

how much are individual tickets for students?

say if.. I don't plan on going to all home games.. maybe 3-4, would it be cheaper to get the LASP?

Well regardless, you have to get the LASP. Then on top of it, you can decide to pay 70 dollars or w/e to get guaranteed seats. If you want to go to the "big" games you will want to pay the extra money. The football games are amazing, and one of my favorite things about UT. If you have the LASP, the tickets are free, but they are not guaranteed.

is it too late to buy a LASP?
I heard it's better to make a group, but since I'm OOS, and I don't know anyone.. uh

This page says you can buy an LASP in the fall for $70 or in the spring for $35.
