Is it better to buy a season pass or buy each ticket separately? Also, do students get into the football games for free because I know Baylor students do? If they do, do they only give 1 ticket per student? What about the basketball games? Thanks for the help. Prospective 2009 Electrical Engineering Student.

You need to buy the LASP for 70 bucks when you register, and then a month after you register you will get an email about purchasing football season tickets(for an additional 70 i think). You aren't guaranteed tickets if you buy the LASP, you have to wait in line for tickets before the game I believe( I have never done it), and you won't be able to sit with groups of people. Same thing goes for basketball, they have season tickets called the "Stampede." Although it isn't free, unlike Baylor, we get to watch a good team play.

What is the LASP and what is it good for?

LASP is the Longhorn All Sports Package

LASP+Season Seating+OU Ticket+Stampede pass=$305

For the quality of the sports you are seeing, that is an AMAZING deal. Stampede is awesome--you are in the first couple of rows for EVERY game, including games like UCLA, OU, KU, and TAMU which otherwise you would need to camp out for hours, if not overnight even to get in, let alone get good seats.

If you buy just the LASP and season tickets, you are essentially paying $20 a game for UT football, and you get in to all other home sporting events free as an aside.
