Football Tickets

How does the group management work after you order your tickets? Do you have to decide who to sit with before the quarter begins…before you meet anyone new?

dd928-
This is copied out of an email I got after buying my football tickets:

“Students wishing to sit together will complete an online process during June to submit their requests to be seated together. All students will receive an e-mail at their OSU e-mail address on June 8th with instructions for submitting their requests.”

Hope that helped.

However, I have something of a similar question, if anyone has done this in the past:

I bought a non-block O seat, as they were the only ones left available, and I was informed by my brother, a current student, that I am able to sell my ticket if I don’t want to attend, but the email I got after purchasing the tickets indicates that I can only sell my tickets to OSU students or give them to family:

“Patrons using an Ohio State University Student Football ticket for admittance to any home football game will be required to show a valid OSU ID at the gates for admittance. Students may give their ticket and ID to their parents or siblings - no upgrade necessary.”

So can I only sell tickets to OSU students?

You have two choices on your football ticket. Loan your buckid card to the person you sold the ticket to (they assume that you would only do that to a family member or a close friend) or upgrade the ticket to the full standard ticket by paying the difference.

Thanks for clearing that up.
