Foothill to RSF?

I really love to work out and it's a must really...

But is this too ridiculously far? How long would it take me to get there if I speedwalked?

10-15 min. I lived in Foothill and was against going to the gym. Walking around campus and back up to Foothill is a work out in itself. You’re basically walking from the back of the campus on the north side to the front on the south side. But if you’re that motivated to do more regular gym work, than go ahead. I just found walking to and from Foothill enough for my daily physical activities, but then again I don’t exercise at all besides walking around Berkeley.

umm ^ you are confusing the OP

Hillside is on the east side of campus and LaLoma is northeast of the northeast corner of campus.

RSF is in the southwest part of campus, south of VLSB. You can get on a perimeter bus or a 52L or an F and get to RSF easily.

better yet…are there any other gyms near Foothill (in particular, Hillside)

Hearst Gym, but that’s also on the south side, except your walk will be about 7 minutes shorter.

What’s at the Hearst Gym? Same kinda stuff?

I personally have never used Hearst, but I know that the pool there is one of the biggest reasons people go. Here’s the site for Hearst:

[UC Berkeley Recreational Sports: Hearst Gym](http://calbears.berkeley.edu/insidepage.aspx?uid=64c465f2-fd68-41ed-bfc1-8d52b5691508)

I guess one major difference between RSF and Hearst is that Hearst has no weight rooms. Can anyone confirm that?

Bowles’ dungeon is a weight room, if you have friends in Bowles, you can get into it
