I was reading through a wikipedia article on Cornell, and this made me laugh~ says quite a bit for college students. :p

"On the Arts Quad exist two statues memorializing the founders of Cornell, Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White. According to legend, if a virgin crosses the Quad at midnight while the chimes are ringing, the two statues will walk off their pedestals, meet in the center of the Quad, and shake hands on the chastity of the university. (Variants of this legend have it that they will take each other's place, or they will dance a jig to celebrate the student's purity.) To this day, the statues have never switched places, shaken hands, or danced."

Ah, I know, but it's fun to take things out of context. ;) It said that in wikipedia as well... but hey, with decisions in two weeks, I'm desperate for a laugh. :p

come to think about it, with possible-future-cornellians stressing over admissions decisions and current Cornellians stressing over finals .... who isn't stressing on the Cornell board??? Anybody??? Being all relaxed isn't cool right now.

If fate happens and ezra and AD White get up, i'm walking up libe slope and yelling over to them "hey, either get back in your damn chair or help me review these statistics notes."

I'm relaxed.
Way I see it, I've got a week before anything else is due...and all day every day to potentially study. Isn't worth it to stress. :) Actually, I'm currently alternating between listening to music and staring out my window at the west campus construction, heh.
