<p>CFA (Im 6'5 230 so my pull ups and push ups are lower then the average cadet). push ups: 56, don't remember sit ups, 5 pull ups, 6:18 mile time, over 70 for B ball throw, and i don't remember shuttle run but i know it was just about average. </p>

<p>While I'd love to be called a cadet, as of right now, I'm still a candidate, just like you (since I'm not actually a student at West Point yet).</p>
<p>But yes, concerning stats- I wouldn't worry so much about it. Just find something you like doing (like me switching out of cross country and into the aquatics field) and be all you can be! (I still think that's the best Army Recruitment Slogan)</p>

<p>Very active in a Jewish youth group, won the highest individual award possible (analogous to Eagle Scout award), as well winning president of the term, most improved chapter of the term, and a couple other awards.
Sports: 1 year each of Wrestling, Lacrosse, and about 8 years total of Tae Kwon Do; black belt
AP's: Taking 5 AP's senior year, already took 2 at time of application and got 5's on both - Bio and Euro
National Merit Commended Semi-Finalist thing (I can never get those awards straight)
CFA: 53 ft 8 inches bball throw, 7 pullups, 9.7 seconds shuttle run, 95 situps, 75 pushups, 7:08 mile</p>
<p>Also, careful about calling people cadets - right now, we're all still Cadet Candidates, just like anyone else with a file open in Admissions. Even when we get there we won't be Cadets. Until we prove ourselves by finishing basic, we'll be New Cadets. We get the full title only after finishing Beast. I draw a distinction. Just a word of advice. :)</p>

<p>No, fortunately or unfortunately you will be a new cadet during beast. And do not worry, you will be reminded of it time and time again.</p>
<p>LOL I can sympathize with Spectrez. Every time I get some piece of mail from WP it still refers to me as a "cadet candidate." Can't wait to upgrade that title!!!</p>

<p>I was homeschooled for 4 yrs., then took my senior year again at a local private school to get some extra classes to compete for the Academy.</p>
<p>Extras: Beta Club, Honor Society, Class Chaplain (12th), High School Praise Band, MS praise band director, church choir, school and church drama, </p>
<p>Sports: 1 yr. softball, 1 yr. baseball.</p>
<p>CFA: 101 sit-ups, 80-something pushups, 6:15 mile, 55-ft. B-Ball throw, don't remember shuttle run but I think it was something like 8.7 seconds, and 13 chin-ups.</p>
