just an informal survey here, if people don't mind sharing this info: just wondering, of those accepted at this point, how many checked the box that said they would be applying for need-based aid? conversely, how many did NOT request fin aid? Pls also say if you were accepted with a scholarship or not...
I know this isn't scientific at all, but just curious to see if there are any trends.
Thx and good luck to all!

i asked for aid and i received a presidential scholarship

I asked for aid - haven't heard about a scholarship yet, but I'll probably get at least get National Merit.

i am DEFINITELY applying for financial aid! i am a presidential candidate.

I applied for financial aid, and i am a candidate for the trustee scholarship.

Side question- do we have to send usc a copy of our final tax forms, and if we do, when is it due?

yes you do.. not sure when it's due but asap can't hurt

USC is need blind though right?

I believe so. All the financial aid documents are due March 2, I believe.

yes, usc is need blind.

"priority filing deadlines" for CSS and FAFSA have lapsed. technically, though, they are not due until march 2.

I applied for aid, but my parents make over 100k, so I'm not sure if that's going to work out. I go to boarding school without financial aid, and I'm pretty sure my high school forwards that info on to colleges. I'm a trustee candidate.
