<p>I don’t know if it’s an option you’d want to consider…but in NYS you can rent a car if you’re 18. You’ll just be subjected to an additional daily charge…which is lame.</p>

<p>I’m sure you’ll meet someone with a car or be able to take a bus to FedEx. I wouldn’t let the lack of car stop you.</p>

<p>let’s not forget that it will more likely than not be very hot and humid the first day you get here…so you wont even need bedding nor jackets, etc…</p>

<p>so just bring with you maybe a blanket or a sheet set and then ship the stuff to your dorm addy later…</p>
