Hello, I am currently a freshman at NYU Stern and I applied for transfer for Michigan's 3 year BBA program. My first semester GPA was a 3.65 with solid A's in Microeconomics and Calculus I. I am currently taking two business classes Principles of Financial Accounting and Business IT with solid A's in both and I will probably have a cumalative 3.75 by the end of this year. I also am currently interning and doing community service. I have a few questions that I would appreciate insight on. 1. Will attending a steller undergraduate business school help my chances? 2. For grades does Ross focus almost all of its attention on math and business classes? 3. Does second semester matter as much as first semester does? Thanks in advance for your help.

Your stats are very solid and the fact that you are applying to transfer from another top university will obviously help you. I'd say you are one of the strongercases I have seen for a Ross transfer. However, Ross isn't known for accepting many transfers, so your chances aren't great. Keep us posted.

Alex, I have a friend applying as a transfer to Ross from MSU with almost a 4.0 GPA, on the leadership board of at least one or two student business associations, has already landed a sweet business internship with a major corporation (she is only a freshman and i'm talking corporate credit cards, making a fair amount of money, etc...), a bunch of other college extra currics (she's a really busy girl)... what do you think her shots are at ross?
