Hey Everyone,
I think we all should know each other better before meeting this coming fall..so I have started a yahoogroup for those who have been accepted...Please do care to join in!! The group will also be a forum where we can discuss different issues and concerns related to Kenyon College!

Dont worry about not being able to talk with one another. In a couple weeks Kenyon will activate your kenyon email accounts and youll be able to mass email each other. I think i got something like 300 emails in just one week last summer before school

I emailed with my roommate and a kind of ad-hoc organization of students arose. City/region meeting were planned before we all got to school. You can talk with anyone you please and all sorts of info is exchanged. You dont have to know all the emails but they post them on a website i think after everyone send in their decisions to attend. And one feature that you will quickly come to hate but has it advantages is the allstu@/fresh@kenyon.edu. It allows you to send emails to everyone in your class year or the school.

I c, thanks.
Do u remember what Kenyon has sent to u after decisions were posted in April? I've heard we're gonna get tons of papers but what are those gonna be in the specific?

After i was told i was admitted they sent me letters from the department i was interested in, letters from admissions and the office of the president. They dont send anything of substance until you send in your letter saying youll be going to Kenyon. Then they hit you with the paperwork. There's a pack of medium length (paragraph) Q and A to help determine your academic advisor. A sheet to fill out to determine science course levels, music instruction levels, a very short roommate and dorm sheet, and other misc. things. I think you get two mailings and the due dates are something like June and July.

i got into kenyon, and i'm really starting to get addicted - I just love everything I hear about it. What are you majoring in? Do you like it there?

theHyacinthgirl, I am up in the air when it comes to my major. Im pretty sure it will be in the social sciences but still have a lot of time to figure it out. Things are going good here on campus. everyones nice, my profs are great.
