shnugglies i noticed that too.... its kinda making me a little bit nervous. at least it doesnt say rejected. thats good then right?

Yeah, but I don't think it would say rejected, when we aren't rejected from the normal decision pool. I would think they would of sent us an e-mail or something at first... ugh.

Ah, well the mail just came and I didn't get in. :[ Good luck to you though.

My status didn't change when I found out that I didn't get in. Check the mail, cuz I didn't get an e-mail. I'm still in shock. Don't really know how to react. We got another chance. O great, more waiting, my favorite...not.

Yeah, it's through the mail. This sucks. Now I've lost all hopes of getting into college. And now we have to wait practically four months to hear back from everyone else, ugh.

For real. where's the cider? Kevdo?:) JK. 4 months of hell. Because you didn't get in ed, is cal poly still your #1, or is there another school that you also wouldn't mind going to in the fall? There is a little sense of freedom of choice that comes from not being accepted. Take it and run with it...that's the most positive I've been in weeks...seriously.

Cal Poly originally wasn't my number one, it's Davis. The problem is, I have a pretty low GPA (3.7) and so I was hoping the fact that I'm applying early will cushion it a bit. Now I'm apprehensive as to whether I will be accepted anywhere on regular terms.

yeah, i got deferred for physics =/

it was quite sad, but i cant let it really consume me

well, although it seems kinda early, is there anything we can do as applicants to better our chances of admission before april?

I'm starting to really hate that word "deferred." It killed me in the letter to read, "We are pleased that Cal Poly was your first college of choice," and then they said how ed students had already been accepted. Way to feel left out. I don't think we can do anything from now to april. I did hear that we have a WAY, and I mean, WAY better chance of getting in the second time around.

Really? Do they take notice that you applied early? Ugh, I can't bare to wait that long... I think this whole break I will be locked inside my room brooding.

seriously?

i sure hope so.

but i dont want to get all my hopes up....again...if thats not the case

I was hoping one of us would get in. You guys are my blog buds--as lame as that sounds. Honestly, it might be a tie between davis and cal poly for me, now that I know. We'll see. I'm sure we'll be talkin again for the same nervous issue. Cal poly just fit me in every way. When I went to the campus I knew I wanted to go there. I toured the arch. department, talked to the swim coach, and loved how they have lots of vegetarian food options--lame again, I know. Not the winter break I was expecting.

ugh, yeah same too. i just got the mail and i didnt get in.. this really sucks. im not really sure how to react yet. this is definitely my first choice though, ive wanted to go here forever

what did you apply to?

what major? or what other schools?
i applied as a kinesiology major

Seeing you guys go through this makes me value my acceptance into Cal Poly a lot more.. Damn, we'll good luck in march, im sure you'll all get in.

thank you, im definitely pretty nervous.

Sorry, you totally already said what you applied to...i'm out of it. Cal Poly is a great school. Value your acceptance for sure.

Do you guys know what's the phone number to know if I got accepted or not, cause I can't seem to find it =/

EDIT: I found it, and sadly, I did not get in =[
