<p>It's like fasting! It's harder to stand it when you've got less than one hour left until sunset! It's easier when it's near the beginning of the day cause the thought of sunset is more abstract!</p>
<p>that's...um...confusing.</p>
<p>i'm not really anxiuos about my scores. because i only took the test for the sake of taking it. :)</p>
<p>It's like...it's harder to wait for something when it's TEN MINUTES away compared to ten HOURS, you know?</p>
<p>You took them for the heck of it??? OHMYGOD! Did you bother even sending them to any schools besides the four free choices? Besides UChicago (ED/EA, right?)</p>

<p>uchicago says i MUST take the new SAT, "but we'll consider your old scores too", which i got a 1500.</p>
<p>1500.....oh, wow. I am impressed! Last year a senior got M800, V630 to make 1430. A junior got 2350 for May SAT I. W800, M790, CR760. Half Romanian, half American. </p>

<p>izzy, are you familiar with UiTM? do you realise how almost everyone under the JPA scholarship who go to UiTM always end up getting 1500 and above? Have you ever stop to think why?</p>
<p>Hmmm...yeah, there was a Korean at my old h.s. in Ho Chi Minh. He got 800 for Math, but 400 or so for Verbal so he ended up with the same score as my sister, though hers was a little more balanced.</p>
<p>UiTM...VAGUELY familiar with it. So, wait JPA students at UiTM also take the SAT's anyway? Is that your school now or...? No, never stopped to think why. I knew some JPA students at Sunway, but they did A Levels. I think their strength (or somewhat lack of) of English MIGHT hamper them with V and a little with Math...</p>
<p>majority of JPA scholars will end up in UiTM. a few end up in Sunway, Taylor's adn the likes. </p>
<p>Now, in UiTM, do you want to know what they do everyday? in sunway, they do a-levels. in UiTM, they do foundation, BUT they also have special classes everyday in the evening on how to ace the SAT. That's why in UiTM, scoring a 1560 is common. We have to study for a-levels, worry about the exam, and only do SAT part-time. Not in UiTM. They do SAT full time. that's why.</p>
