Where are all of you guys living next year? How many roommates?

I think I’m living in Aspen Village with my good friend from HS. For the amount of space that we’re getting, the rent is okay. Two bedrooms, two bath, 1015 sq. feet for $1255 a month. Can’t wait to decorate!!

That's pretty expensive bro, although there is a lot of space. I'm living with four other people in Allegre(4 bed, 2 bath) for $2290..

hey thatts less thant 600 bucks a month, whcich is less than 7200 dollars a year, which i think is cheaper than dorms!

Yeah. A few points to make sure everyone realizes.

1) Living in the dorms is abt. 3000 per quarter depending on meal plan. That comes out to about 1,000 a month. Which is expensive. But I'd still dorm again. The experience is great.

2) After dorming, living with more people = cheaper rent per person.

BUT even though living with just two people is more expensive.

I thought about having to synchronize payments, etc. with 3+ people, especially if your apt. complex only takes one rent check per apartment. My friend and I both have Wells Fargo, so he easily transfers the money to me.

How are groceries going to work with 3+ people? 3 Gallons of milk? Each person has a fridge in their own room?

"Hey you ate all my ______"
"No, I didn't Roommate #6 did!"
"No, I didn't!"

Yeesh.

But if everyone is responsible enough, I wouldn't mind living with more people.

I'm not an upcoming second year.. I'm a graduating senior contemplating whether to stick around for grad school. I like having a place to myself, and a washer/dryer in my apartment because I tend to forget I'm doing laundry. I currently live in a 1-bedroom at Greystone. With internet, I'm paying $990/month. If I stick around for grad school, I'm moving to Woodland and buying a parking permit. I can get a one-bedroom w/ washer, dryer for $780/month in woodland.
