i'm a student from UWC . and i'm a first year !
Today the results of MIT Went out , unfortanitly , the Student's who applied from the collage didn't get luck to get it , althought they have like 40 and 41 out of 42 in the IB </p>

what it requeires an IB student to get into MIT ,
i mean i take Physics , Math , Chem HL and Econ and English in SL
is that GOOD enough? ? ? ? ?</p>
<p>I think it’s more about the opportunities available to you. If you’re taking advantage of all the opportunities at your school, I think you’re on the right track. I only have hl English, history, and Spanish at my school. Bio, math, and music/visual are all sl, so I have no choice. I was still admitted, however, but I think it may be because my school isn’t too great and because I stayed busy during the summer.
Anyway, in terms of classes, if those are the top classes offered at your school, I think you’re fine in terms of curriculum (just maintain your grades.) </p>
<p>Keep in mind that it isn’t easy to get into mit. Those students sound AMAZING (41 marks is insane) but they still didn’t make it. You really need to shine. It goes beyond grades and classes, you know? Essays, extra curricular activities… Everything comes into play. </p>
<p>Congrats to you LOLToasty. You are an amazing and deserving of acceptance. I was very impressed about all you have had to overcome. You have the determination to do great things and I am sure that was recognized. My d was waitlisted and she is honored to receive that decision.</p>
