for all you math geniuses!

to all you math geniuses out there

find x so that x, x+2, x+3 are terms of a geometric sequence

thanks!!!

x = -4

extra characters...

how'd you do it?

Geometric sequence means that successive ratios are equal. So (x+2)/x = (x+3)/(x+2). Solve to get x = -4.

thank you people so so so much!!!
