I dont think Reggie Bush will play in Houston he might pulled a Eli manning on them, since Houston has a very bad offense line and as a RB, there will be no gaps and no amazing stats.

I mean will he really run behind the worst offensive line in the NFL with a hand off from an inept quaterback in Carr? No way.

If I were Reggie Bush, I'd tell Houston to go to hell because that team ain't going nowhere until they can get an O-line. No running back can succeed without a good line in front of him, not even the president himself. David Carr's got the strongest arm in the league but he can't do anything with it when he's got linebackers and d-ends piledriving him into the grass. Houston could probably steal an entire O-line from a team who badly wants Bush and the buzz that'll come from him.

If I was Reggie Bush, I'd be happy to play for zillions of dollars no matter where it was, especially w/ the Texans! They have a Pro Bowl WR in Andre Johnson and a very talented QB David Carr. Carr and Johnson could do some amazing things w/ a threat like RB Bush taking the defense's attention. The Texans have to take Bush. He's that player who "only comes along once every 25 years." Here's the teams with the top 5 picks (w/ opp win % calculated):

Plus, one of the main reasons the Texans should take Bush, other than the 3 headed monster of Carr, Johnson, and Bush that would be created, is the fact that HOU can address their OL needs in th 2nd and 3rd rounds and still get good players this year. There are 11 OL w/ 1st round grades and there's no way more than half of them will actually be 1st round picks (the record is around 6 1st rnd OL.) The Texans can get Bush and reload their OL because of the depth at the OL spots in this year's draft. Yeah, go Texans!

Houston's main priority should be to get an O-line. If what you say is true, then they're in very good shape to revitalize their horrid offence.

Batman32c's draft order for the top five picks is correct. Also, Houston would probably benefit from trading down from the number one overall spot to get a few "quality" players plus a high first round draft pick. Their offensive line needs a lot of work. My guess is, however, that they will keep the pick and draft Reggie, simply because of the hype that is surrounding him as he enters the NFL.

I'm so annoyed that the stupid Jets won. Although I'm a Jets and Giants fan, I really wanted the Jets to lose so they could at least get Lienhart. Maybe they'll get Brady Quinn from Notre Dame, but I think he's only good 'cause Charlie Weis is his coach. Hopefully Reggie Bush will stay in college another year and the Jets will get him next year. They need both a HB and a QB. Pennington is injury-prone and he's also not very good (fumbles/throws picks way too much), and Curtis Martin was good, but he's gonna start collecting Social Security soon.

Brady is not going to be in draft, he wants to play another year at ND. He should since he had two horrible years to start with. I think he will be a very high draft pick next year because he is so well coached and familar with the NFL system. He is just a good classic drop back quaterback.

Reggie Bush definitely will not stay another year since there is no way he is going to be playing with Booty.

I agree with the person who said they need an O-Line. I like the Texans a lot--they have three of the best players at their positions (Davis, Carr, and Johnson). What they need is an extra WR and a better defense. The ironic thing about Bush is he is similar to Davis. Maybe trade their first pick to a team who needs a QB or RB maybe Arizona for Boldin and an OL.

^^^ Wow ur crazy. Johnson is their only good player. Carr sucks and so does Davis. Houston should trade their draft pick to get a few good O-linemen.

The right thing for the Texans to do is to try to get some help on that, presently, weak offensive line. If they spend their top draft picks and free agent money on just getting more "big-name" quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers, then none of them will help them win more games because the same thing that is happening to David Carr and others right now will happen to them. The offensive line that they have currently is not providing any holes for running backs or any protection for quarterbacks.
