For all you wait-listed at Columbia...

Hi all.

I'm a student from Hong Kong SAR, and I was, probably like a good many of you following this sub forum, wait-listed at Columbia College.
Perhaps there's already a thread dedicated to the subject, but I was wondering if any of you out there are planning to submit additional materials?
When I logged in to the admissions page for Columbia's website, it said that there was no use mailing in additional letters of recommendation, but we were welcome to write a page to the office to express our enthusiasm towards admission and continued interest in Columbia.

Does this mean we don't need to submit anything else to the school at all? Grades? Scores? Anything of the sort? What are you guys doing? Any light that could be shone on the subject is much appreciated.

Matt

I’m just submitting the one page supplementary letter.

just a letter…

Yeah, just a letter as well

You know…

It just occurred to me that we’re probably all out to sabotage each other (since we’re all on the wait-list), and would therefore would likely mislead other people in the same situation eg. telling them not to send in additional materials…

But nah, that’s probably me being overly cynical towards the good nature of CC denizens.

Anyone else have any input?

I just sent a letter. No sabotage plots over here, although I cant force you to believe me. And honestly that would be pretty pathetic, but i wouldnt put it above some people on this site… haha
