I'm starting up this website to advertise for my local tutoring service ( www.ptpmidland.com ). I know how to program (Java sophomore year) and html looks easy, but I just don't have the time to set up a good website.

if anyone is interested in a job, please PM me. I want somehow who will do most of the grunt work for a couple weeks and will show me how to manage my website myself afterward.

it is a paying job. Not sure what would be a fair price, so just contact me if you are interested

Depending on what type of a hosting account you have at your disposal, you could try a content management system. It's pretty self explanatory to set up. I'd recommend mambo, phpnuke, or postnuke. In fact, I think fantastico (comes with cpanel, and I'm assuming you're using cpanel since it's the most prevalent type of hosting panel in the industry) has an auto-install module for php nuke.

Anyways, then it would be an easy task of hiring some guy to make you a quick mambo layout for about 50 bucks. Then you can just manage your own content from the start without any real html/php experience.
