As decisions are coming out soon, I figured some people would be interested in what a typical freshman schedule looks like.

Thank you, very helpful. Do you have any control over when you want to take a class or what teacher you want? Could you take classes over the weekend?

About how many hours of homework do you usually get per hour of class?

Thanks

…ChairmanGuo, I’m fairly certain that tennisjump is being funny…

If that schedule is real - which it’s not - the workload would be absolutely ungodly.

I’m pretty sure it’s real. Why would he waste his time generating such a convincing schedule (with the right ###s for each class) just to throw us off? Come on, man.

well, if it is real… is that also for wharton, or what?

It’s not real. It’s an 8.5 credit courseload.

edit: My courseload isn’t really typical of most Wharton students it seems, but this was one schedule I considered for the upcoming semester. Most Wharton students take stat 101 instead of 430.

You think he’s taking math 203, 241, and 370 during the same semester?

I don’t think that’s real. Classes from 10 am-7 pm on a Friday? I doubt that’s ‘typical’

…well, I hope not.

haha that’s definitely not a real schedule

anyone can generate a fake schedule using that handy-dandy registrar tool

and there’s no wharton classes on the fake one, either

hahahah that’s funny. i would die with that schedule

why arent you taking any classes at 4 or 6 on M-Th…dont you want to be successful after college???

Just to clarify, that’s not my schedule. It’s a friend who’s taking 9.5 cu, and it is real.

3 math classes in the same semester? I call BS.

That schedule would kill me.

As a freshman at Penn, this schedule is a total fake. Every freshman has a maximum of 6.0 credits and if you’re in the college, it’s common to have just 4.0 your first semester. Don’t let this guy scare you. This semester I took 4.5 and next semester I’m taking 5.0 and I’m pre-med!

I haven’t posted on here in a long time, but I just want to confirm that I know the person too, and it’s real (but not at all typical). It’s for a sophomore getting a dual degree in math and cbe and a minor in anthro.
