For Anyone With A Fee Waiver.

You do NOT have to send in Part I by mail with the form that says: "Rice will waive the $50 fee" for accomplishing __________________. They have a button that as you submit Part I online, says "I've already paid the fee". This is the button to click for the fee waiver.

There is so much confusion with Part I's getting sent by mail -- and then people not receiving Part II at all, and getting late interviews as well...I just thought I would post this.

Okay so I pressed the I've-already-paid button, but I never mailed in the fee waiver "proof" - do I need to? I completely forgot about it! Rice waived the fee because I named them first or second on my National Merit application, so is it likely that they have me on record as fee-waived? Or should I mail the letter I got in tomorrow morning?

I just reread your post and it sounds like no, I don't have to mail it in. haha thank goodness

You do not need to mail the proof -- they have a database with all the names on it. Unfortunately, I found this out after I sent in the form.
