Do you have to know the names of the legislature of Roosevelt's New Deal?
Like if a FRQ was about the New Deal, would I be able to write A.A.A. or would I have to first mention it was the agricultural adjustment Act?

If you already know what the AAA stands for…what was the point of this question

lol

My question is basically, if I forget what SEC stands for, but I remember that it was an agency that regulated the stock market and protected investors from illegal activities like insider trading, would it suffice to say SEC or would that be a no-no?

Ok well, it would be good to brush up on them. Remember, you only need to refer to the actual name once. After that, you can do like SEC, or w/e

fyi, SEC stands for securities exchange commission if you didnt know, lol

but yea, brush up on those names…anyway even if you don;t remember, they probably won’t take off any points…as long as you know what its about

Alright TY.
I’m studying the name of FDR’s New Deal legislature, but knowing me, Ill forget them by Friday.
Thanks for your help =)

My teacher (who’s been doing it for years and is retiring this year, she’s pretty knowledgeable) says if you can remember the acronym that’s great, if you can remember the actual name that’s even better, if you can’t remember either but can remember what one did than say how he had alphabet agencies that did this and that etc.

The more historical information you pack into your essay the better.
