For chances at TAMU should I aim to be more well rounded or focused

Hello!
For my best chances at Texas A&M should I be more well rounded or most focused on what I want to go into at A&M- business.

Thanks!!

@mokama01 I just read your post from July. Based on what you wrote, if you are now in your senior year, you qualify for auto admissions to TAMU based on being in the top 10% of your class. Even if you dropped out of the top 10% by end of Jr. year, you qualify for academic admit.

When you apply, you will be directly admitted into Mays.

The issue for you right now is you need to apply ASAP or they may run out of spots. Even for auto admits. Applications opened July 1 this year. Get the App in. I know of several kids who applied in Nov. of prior years when apps opened Aug. 1 and even though they were auto admits, Mays was full and they had to pick other majors. Agg Business was one direction.

Here are the stats you wrote in July.
I am ranked 70 out of 879 in my class (top 7.9%)
4.0 GPA; 4.6 weighted
Multiple AP/Pre-AP classes taken
1470 SAT & am taking again in August and hoping to slightly improve
Multiple extra-curriculars
