For Computer Science, U Michigan or U Washington?

Here's the deal: I've narrowed my choices down to two schools, Michigan and Washington. I plan to study computer science. I am not concerned about distance as I live far from both colleges.

Some of my thoughts so far on each school:

Washington- I was directly admitted to the computer science program with a 32k (total) merit based scholarship. I like the new facilities, gorgeous campus, and Seattle. Everything seems to be in a convenient location.

Michigan- I was admitted to the school of electrical engineering and computer science. I like Ann Arbor, but the campus is so dispersed.

That being said, the most important thing for me is the quality of the computer science program, and how successful cs students typically become after attending either college. I would really appreciate some help on this one; I am really unsure where to go.

Washington is higher ranked for your major; Michigan is higher ranked as a school; both are ridiculously good schools. Go where you feel most at home.

UW has Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc in the back yard - lots of local internship opportunities

Washington is good in your major, and Michigan is a good school. Like saintfan said, there are a lot of internship opportunities in Washington. Go where you feel most at home
