<p>Gross. Wharton students are obviously the cream of the crop, but the trade-school aspect of it all makes my stomach turn.</p>

<p>BTWW my reasons for penn:</p>
<p>1) BBB (HOLY EFFING ITS AMAZING ;_________;)
2) LSM (if i get in, i will seriously like. i don't even know what. actually, i would do some ridiculous like lick the floor of my calc class like that other poster's friend or something LOL)
3) they actually have a good xc/track and field
4) the dance company looks fun
5) social
6) locust walk
7) BEAUTIFUL campus</p>

<li>close second... they offer the best cognitive science program IMO in all the schools I have considered.</li>

If I do get in.. well I'll cry and die and while cackling delete schools off of my Common App account. Or better yet delete my entire Common App account...</p>

<p>@eatsalot: I've looked at the BBB program and it sounds cool, but I don't know much about it beyond what it says on the website. Why do you like it?</p>
<p>Not a mainstream school? It might not have Harvard's name, but it's just as well known as, say, Brown. Anyone at another top-20 school will know and respect it, and that's all that really matters.</p>
<p>and Penn is definitely the top (if not top 3) school with the most international prestige</p>

<p>I don't know about other countries but I think UC Berkeley is more well-known in China than UPenn. My grandparents were like "Oh...what's that?"</p>

I think essays for common app are the easiest to do because you just have to write about yourself, unlike supplemental essays in which I have to research and bs somewhat. I hate bsing. </p>
