What are some great courses you feel everyone should take at Cornell? How about specialized courses for certain majors (I know this will attract a wide range of responses). What are some courses to avoid or be "aware of", in your opinion? Who are the good teaches? The bad teachers? Thanks!

AEM 121, entrepenureship lecture series. 1 credit of A, monday evenings, a different speaker every week. average grade: A. final project: 3 page essay. really interesting speakers make it a great course.

Psychology 101...supposed to be the most famous class at Cornell.

I'll be taking Psych 101 in the fall and am really excited for it.

intro to wines.

however, i think that the best courses are ones you take outside of your major. Engineers, try a literature class, ILRies try astronomy, etc.

If you can, I would suggest taking FGSS 201, Introduction to Feminist, Gender and Sexuality Studies. It's a really interesting class, and I learned a lot from it. It's a little bit of reading but it's totally worth it. The class is taught seminar-style and there's only about 16-20 kids in the class so you get to know the professor really well too. So it's a little bit different from the huge introductory classes that some people are used to.

A lot of girls take the class, but I know of several boys (myself included) who took the class and got a lot out of it. I highly, highly, recommend it.

^ Do they teach how to impress girls in that class? If not, is there any couse teaching that?

Arjun, you make me laugh, unintentionally, I think.

The course teaching that would be life.

Arjun, I believe that course is called Keystone Light.
