Has anyone had experience with the Capital Educators SAT prep course? I didn't have a very good impression of courses in general from what I've seen here, and wasn't originally considering one, but it seems pretty decent and would actually be taught at my school (separate from regular classes but at the same location, which is convenient). Comments?

I live in the suburbs of DC in Northern Virginia Fairfax to be specific, but I've never heard about that place.

Capital Educators SAT Prep isnt good at all..

I have friends in MD and they say Kaplan and Princeton Review is way better!!

i have friends that took it, and have friends that do clerk type work for them too. they haven't gotten results back yet from the new sat, but to me it seemed like a waste of time. they had to take diaganostic tests practically every other week and then weekend classes and evening classes.

but then again i'm biased and hate the class setting. for me, i feel like i got the same prep, or better in shorter, less frequent meeting times with a private tutor than with CapEd.

(and on the tutor note, it did cost more than CapEd, but not a lot, and nowhere near as much as some of them can be. you just have to be willing to dig around a bit)

Thanks for the different perspectives. They've been teaching at my school for years, and recently put us through the propaganda.
