Which school was it?
Mine was Brown and it’s great not having to apply to other schools.
Tell me how things are now (are you happy, enjoying a stress-free end of highschool, is school boring now, etc.).

THE University of Notre Dame

Definitely a lot less stressful. No longer a need to panic at a B on a test or missed homework assignment. Also, having the whole process/stress over with is a definite plus.

Rice University

Less stressful but trying not to fall victim to senioritis...however, still got plenty of scholarship apps to do

i am so ready to leave high school behind :)

Did you get good financial aid from Rice?

Parsons School Of Design

I'm happy, however not completely because I don't know if I can still go just because I need my financial aid package! School is definetly boring and useless, It's an art school I don't have to have a 4.0.

I'm into University of Connecticut - I know it doesn't seem like the most elite school but their dental program is number 1 in the country and that is what I'm going to school for.

I got a half scholarship.

So yeah, now I am thrilled. I love not having to worry about applications or anything. Its funny to hear my friends complain about doing their apps & getting them in on time. Its an awesome feeling to know that i'm set and don't have to worry about it! However, the senioritis is getting worse & worse which I'm trying to not allow to happen but oh well. Only a few more months!!!

I'm into Brown, and after that I became disgusted with every course that my state/school makes me take that I don't want to, because never again will I have to waste time in a class I have no interest in!

What did you do with your other outstanding applications once you were accepted at your 1st choice school? Terminate them?

I hadn't submitted any, but I sent a letter to Grinnell thanking them for their help and telling them that I wouldn't be applying.

Stanford

I'm ubber happy right now, but still stressed about high school (although it's nothing compared to my friends who still have to wait for decisions). And yes, school is very boring right now, except for my ECs. As for other apps, I kept two (one safety and another reach) and withdrew from the other schools (around 4).

"Never again will I have to waste time in a class I have no interest in!"

Amen to that, sister.

Duke.

Relieved of the "college application" stress, but still working (surprisingly?) hard/harder than I normally do in school. Super anxious about my close friends, who I want to go to their first choices as well (they're ridiculously brilliant). Elated, euphoric, giddy- whatever you want to call it. I can't wait 'till the fall.

Columbia.

Thrilled to be done, but since I am taking 8-9 classes 2nd semester, my workload doesn't slow down. Oh well...at least im into college...I am really anticipating my friends decisions. 57% of my class applied EA/ED and 77% were accepted, so we already have a good idea as to where a good amount are going.

Penn

It's unbelievable. I LOVE THE SCHOOL EVEN MORE NOW. I'm just tryin' to finish HS the way I started it: completely chill...and get'em IB and AP tests done wit flyin' colors and get the stickin' intro level classes outta my way. I'm totally relaxed now, just tryin' to savor the remaining months of HS and soak up the atmosphere here...:)

Northwestern

The wait till September is too long. classes for second sem seems harder..cant really make my self relax, although i'd like to :p

im gonna cry.

Princeton

Big sigh of relief! I have a full schedule with AP classes so high school work is still demanding...so glad that I do not have to suffer through 2 months, waiting for college admission decisions...very happy right now, and I am looking forward to going to college.

Columbia

It's cool to be in, but now it is a long, hard wait until NYC. Is it just me, or has time hit very slow mode?

Amherst

I was really happy to get the acceptance letter, despite the fact that they scared me with a small envelope. The only bad part is that the senioritis is really kicking in, especially in my AP's that I know I wont get credit or be able to get out of introductory classes for (English and History). I cant wait for September and not having to take any classes I dont want to ever again.

Wesleyan University

I actually feel far more stressed. My grades were never my strong point. Now, if my grades drop, instead of settling for a "lower" college than I was expecting - I might not have anywhere to go, if my admission gets rescinded. So I'm kinda constantly on the edge...

But I can't wait to get there next fall!! Assuming my admission isn't rescinded.
