<p>Which of these colleges is good with finaid for transfers?</p>
<p>UChicago, Northwestern, Emory, Swat, Grinnell, Macalester.</p>
<p>For Northwestern:
"Financial aid is awarded on the basis of need, but is dependent upon availability of funds. Northwestern grant assistance is generally not available to transfer or returning adult students during their first year at the University."</p>

<p>Ok, i know i shouldnt be basing my opinions on schools based on surveys, but i was reading about swarthmore, and like you, i was thinking of applying (thats why i asked you if you were applying to other LACs). Anyways, i came to terms with the fact that swarthmore is full of geeks. Now...there is nothing wrong with geeks, i may act geeky here or something, but im far from geeky outside of the classroom. And the majority of the swarthmore campus is like full of extremist geeks or something!!! Also, if you look at the campus visit section, on looks, everyone got a C or something! what the hell? lol everyone must be ugly or something. Also, i heard bad things about how much work there is at swarthmore. Overall, its not the type of school for me.</p>
<p>haha well wesleyan also gets similarly low marks in the looks category, but I've seen plenty of good-looking people there. I do see what you mean though...I'm guessing if I go ahead with another application or two, it'll be to UChi since I have always somewhat liked that school, Grinnell because they're rich as ****, or Macalester because it seems like a neat place.</p>
<p>yeah, wesleyan isnt so hot on the looks section, thats why im also not applying there! LOL!!! :p U chi is dope! im not familiar with the other schools u mentioned though.</p>

<p>LOL!! dude, this is the funniest conversation on here. Instead of finaid, this should really be called "College and Looks" or something. Anyways, i just checked swarthmore, and dont even get me started on how they look cuz :confused: i was just confused by some of their pics... Its like the admission officers asked each high school for everyone with below average looks and spit them all out into the school!</p>
