I didn’t rank acceptance by % because it’s not relevant and too easy to misinterpret. Of students who applied to many of these schools (Blair, Salisbury, Kent, Avon Old Farms, etc.) the “acceptance rate” would have been 100%. (For example, 7 students applied to Blair and all of those students were accepted.) On the flip side, the rate for places like Deerfield and Hotchkiss was representative of school average.

It does fit into the conversation about is there a bias on CC and the need to find the “best fit” for your student. It gives us a little insight as to the patterns in picking schools, particularly stretch schools.

The majority of applications were submitted to TSAO schools. Makes sense. TSAO has a broad reach.

CC isn’t exclusive and that’s a great benefit for people using the forum. A number of students applied to schools like NMH, Blair, and Miss Porter’s, to pick a few. Some very satisfied parents & students are helping others learn about schools in ways beyond marketing materials. Very useful!
