For girls: What's your favorite cosmetic products?

yeah, it's another one of those silly threads... do you have a favorite brand of make-up you wear on a daily basis that you can't leave the house without? Why do you like it? I'm still trying to figure out which products work for me :P

I love the body shop’s lip balms :)(especially the orange one!! Its either mango or passion fruit) they keep my lips hydrated for several hours and the smell is amazing!

Also Mac Paint Pot is a really good eyeshadow primer and makes any of my eyeshadows last 8-12 hours. It also makes them a lot more vibrant.

My favorite drugstore brands are revlon, maybelline, and wet ‘n’ wild.
Pretty much all of their products are good quality and very pigmented!
If you haven’t tried Revlon’s kissable balm stains (the crayons that are similar to Clinique’s chubby stick) you definitely should. They last for several hours and are really easy to apply.

I’ve found that watching YouTube videos/reading blog reviews can help you get an idea of the quality of the product and how it applies. :)

I like the idea of makeup - but my awful habit of rubbing my eyes has made it that going natural is my best bet. But on those rare occasions that I do wear make up, I’ll go for Clinique.

I use L’oreal powder, MaryKay or Maybelline mascara and ELF eyeliner. It was $1! ELF has pretty good products and most of them are under $10.

I like elf eye liner pen, eyeshadow (my favorite part lol I use Claire’s) and cover girl mascara, it makes my eyes look so pretty without looking like I’m wearing fake lashes or overdoing it.

So I disagree with this thread including “For girls” in the title, since I know guys that wear makeup…
Anyway I don’t have any favorites, I rarely wear makeup (usually only if I have an interview or something like that), I end up just wearing Ulta’s makeup.

I don’t know…I just kind of grab whatever I see. I only use brown eyeliner and some lipgloss. “Nice” make-up seems expensive.

I do love Bath and Body Works products though.

I dislike makeup because of my tendency to rub my eyes, yawning and more obvious reasons.

but I use elf and wet n wild. Cuz i just think buying a 20 dollar makeup product anything isn’t worth it. idk. I probably should start investing in some since I have prom and graduation and interviews coming up

I use CoverGirl for the basics such as foundation, mascara, etc. I like Hard Candy and Physician’s Formula for blushes. Burt’s Bees is by far the best lip balm for my lips. Um…for eyeshadows, I stay with the name brands such as NYX, LA Splash, MAC, L’Oreal so my eyes won’t get irritated.

The one product, or really products, I would rather not leave the house without would be my foundation, eyebrow pencil, and Burt’s Bees.

I wear makeup, but, believe me, it doesn’t look like I do. I won’t slap on eyeshadow unless I’m going out for the night.

I personally wear several brands if makeup everyday. To make my skin look better, because mine is dry and oily I use a layering of maybelline BB cream, then a powdering of loreal naturals loose powder.

I usually don’t wear any lip stick or blush, but sometimes a lip gloss. For eyes I suggest two routes. The first is covergirl exact eye lights, which matches your eye color to eye shadow, liner, and mascara colors.

The second: I love Milani eye shadows, they always look so nice, and my favorite eyeliner is loreal Paris felt tip eyeliner. I use a variety of mascaras, including, but not limited to physicians formula organic mascara, which I forget the name of but it’s in a pink tube, one by one falsies, and voluminous from loreal Paris.

That’s just me, but I love doing my makeup and I get all my makeup from cvs, just so you know :)

Sorry to be that person…

“For girls: What’re* your favorite cosmetic products?”

Bath and Body work is my favorite shop, too. I sometimes get perfumes and whatnot from nice people I know who travel abroad to Europe and buy them for me.

I don’t really do makeup because:
a) I also rub my eyes a lot,
b) My skin is overly sensitive,
c) I’m too tired to do makeup,
d) I wake up too late to do makeup.

When I do use makeup, I also use covergirl for the essentials. I like L’oreal, too. I use facial products like moisturizer and toner and whatnot but they’re prescription since my skin gets crazy dry (I also live in one of the driest AND coldest places in North America, so…)

I go through periods where I will wear makeup everyday, and then periods where i wont wear makeup for weeks on end. My makeup consists of maybelline mascara- I loved Colossal but I try different ones-,lip gloss, and possibly some eyeshadow and concealer if I look really bad that day.

I have some black liquid eyeliner.

Bath and Body Works is perf.

For eyeliners, I always use Maybelline. It’s pretty inexpensive and works well for me. And yeah, I second Burt’s Bees lip balm. makes you feel good knowing what’s on your lips is natural too. Oh and wet ‘n’ wild for mascara.
I really need to get some more Bath & Body works stuff, haha.

Urban Decay for makeup (I love their eyeliners; I have eggplant, black, gold…), EOS for lip balm. That’s about it.

I think it really depends on how much make-up you use, your age, your style, your budget, etc.

I love eyeshadow more than any other products.

For high-end products my favorite thing is Urban Decay’s Naked Palette. It is very versatile and the shadows are so pigmented. It is $50 though
For the face, Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes are superb, as well as Benefit’s Benetint (used both in the cheeks and lips).

However, I love my drugstore buys. I reccomend Revlon’s Whipped Creme for foundation, Wet n’ Wild for eyeshadows, and elf lipglosses (only $1!) :)

As I said, it depends.

Yes, Urban Decay is great along with Tarte…but then we start getting into the high end stuff which I think is useless to wear to school…unless it the basics.

I pretty much live on eyeliner. I alternate between Sephora and Body Shop black eyeliner (whichever one isn’t lost :D) for my waterline, and usually don’t do anything on the top lid. If I do, it’s navy, gray, or silver eyeliner. For my lips, I stick to chapstick.
If I’m feeling super fancy, I’ll put on sheer eyeshadow. It’s really subtle- just how I like it :)

I don’t really care about makeup much anymore. I just use Maybelline foundation & powder and some Forever21 lipgloss. Sometimes I use mascara but I usually get lazy.

My eyelids are really oily so I can never find eyeliner that “fits” me -_-
