For graduate linguistics, undergrad major?

<p>So far, I have been trying to look at colleges with undergrad majors in linguistics. But, it seems as if linguistics is mostly a graduate school program. Even top grad schools often have weak undergrad programs.</p>

<p>What other majors would I look at with the intent of going to grad school in linguistics? I already applied to a couple of schools that do not have linguistics, and a couple that do. But both that do have linguistics are kind of reaches for me (UT Austin and Rice) and the others don't have linguistics, like TAMU. I am looking at Trinity University in a couple of weeks. Also, I am considering double majoring with math, or at least minoring. By the time I graduate high school, I will have both AP maths and dual credit in number theory. I also have AP French and then language independent study where we are covering linguistics.</p>
