<p>i visited penn recently, and i talked to ms. peralta-duran. she siad they only admin the test if you can't show proficiency through something like an AP test or an SAT II, so unless you didn't take either, they don't worry. that test is only for like, russian and hindi, languages without standardized tests.</p>

<p>international students have an equal chance of getting the exam, it only depends on the individual student's level of speaking and writing in their target language that dictates whether or not you need the test.</p>
