<p>In the U.K - it seems that Economics is the subject regarding IB. But in the U.S it appears that Finance is. So for a career in IB and hopefully PE; would Finance or Economics be more benefitial? Or if non of them - what?</p>

<p>Definitely matters on the prestige of the degree. It changes from school to school, it depends on what your comparing.</p>
