<p>So I handed in a couple of my applications a few minutes late and I panicked. But let me tell you- DON'T WORRY. especially if it's just a few minutes- my friend and I practically called 20 colleges (most of them are popular for the kids on this site-ivies and such too) and they were all very nice (some even laughed)- THEY DON'T CARE IF IT'S A FEW MINUTES OR EVEN A COUPLE OF DAYS LATE. Some of them even said they accept applications weeks later, and I recently met someone who handed in their Harvard application one week late but is a student there now.</p>
<p>In short: Don't worry. But it's no excuse to hold it off, I learned that the sooner you get it done the more relieved you will feel. And ignore the morons who lecture you about holding things off and it's your fault blahblah, as if you'll listen to them anyway.</p>
