For MDC Transfers (Preferrably in business or accounting)

Hi. I'm currently attending FIU and am considering going to MDC and earning the rest of my AA credits there so I can transfer into UF. I looked over their 'Articulation Agreement' with schools and noticed that UF's name isn't under the business section. Does this mean that one cannot transfer into UF's College of Business from MDC?

^ That's where I've been looking.

Thanks a lot

i attend FIU as well.

I am attending my last semester here (summer a)

i went to orientation at UF on monday for the college of liberal arts and science and a very similar topic was brought up.

MDC has changed its name from MDCC…it claims to no longer be a community college.
(this was of heavy concern to the advisors…)

call an advisor at UF because this is a special case with MDC?/MDCC?

anyways if you transfer to UF from fiu/mdc , you wont regret ;] i prefer uf from what ive seen.

Yea, MDC still falls under the whole CC 2+2 rule thing. The problem is that (from what I hear) what makes the 2+2 possible is an Articulation Agreement between schools. I dove into the paperwork and looked through the Articulation Agreements between MDC and other schools, and saw that UF’s name wasn’t under the Articulation Agreement dealing with business schools.

I’m just looking to talk to someone who’s transferred from MDC into UF for Business (and preferrably Accounting) so I can verify that it is possible (if it would be treated like a regular University, such as FIU, then it would be impossible to transfer into the business school because of it only accepts CC students as transfers)

yes you can still transfer to UF from mdc for accounting…I just did…good luck
