For NMSC, how close do SAT and PSAT scores have to be?

<p>I scored a 2160 on my SATs (CR 720/M 700/WR 740). I scores a 219 on my PSATs (CR 68/M 71/WR 80). </p>

<p>Are these scores close enough for purposes of being considered a National Merit Finalist? </p>

<p>Yeah, I'm pretty sure your SAT score that "confirms your PSAT results" only has to be >2000. </p>

<p>I'm assuming that you did make your state cut-off and have been notified of your SF status...?</p>

<p>Yes. I'm in PA and the cutoff this year for NMSF is 213. I received my packet a couple of weeks ago.</p>
