for northerners

how will you northern accepted students visit Vandy?

I live in Milwaukee and have visited Vanderbilt twice. I drove down in February and was flown in for the March scholarship weekend. The drive from Milwaukee is not that bad (8-8.5 hours) and I enjoyed experiencing the cultural life of the city.

I will not visit again until the SAOP program in June, but I will also drive to that program.

I live in North Dakota and will be going in June. Its like a 20 hour drive, so I will be flying.

I'll be driving down from Cleveland over my spring break.

Flying down from Pennsylvania for the april 14th open house thang

i came down from Alaska last august
...i flew.

driving down tomarrow for the weekend from wash dc - 10-12 hour drive.... ick but im stoked for the partys!

I've flown down once and I'm probably flying down again the week of the 17th, but after these two we'll probably drive.

I flew down last August, flew down last weekend.

So to answer the question:

I will buy a plane ticket, I will fly to Nashville, I will rent a car, I will drive to a hotel bordering the campus, I will get out of the car, I will walk around campus.

edit: I will have a parent drive to a hotel (I can't drive a rented car)
