For people who are planning to skip class to study, read

Let's create a lot of excuses so after the AP Exam we won't get burn and scolded by our teachers. Because some of us have domineering teachers and some of us just happened to have been assigned in the front sit of the class...

Excuses I have come up with so far

"family emergency"

Dentist appointment

Come on people!...

During AP weeks I’m going to be “sick”. At my school as long as your parents call or if you bring a note it is an excused absence.

Although I understand AP tests can be extremely stressful, I hope this is a lighthearted joke.

Many people would be digging themselves into a hole, had they been absent just to catch up for an AP exam…

But, if you have more AP classes than non-AP classes (like me), these 2/3 weeks are crunchtime. It’s hard to sit through a boring class when you know you have this much more to review.

Massive Headache

Diarrhea

Stomachache

Constant Barfing

Fever

Eye infection

if i skipped school to study for the ap’s, i probably wouldn’t study even if i wanted to, i’d just end up sleeping instead because i have like a sleeping addiction or something. but i would skip to sleep so that i’d be more awake in the night to cram lol

Sick notes from parents are useless unless they are from a doctor in my school, that’s why I said “appointment”

These probably work only for me.

 • say I have to do something related to my next year school(for example, orientation).
 • pretend to go to math competition. I skipped a lot of classes for math competitions, and every teacher assumes that I’m a math genius(and this excuse always worked even when I didn’t really have to skip the class).

I probably won’t need any excuse to skip class. IT’S SPRING BREAK!!!

It’s May now…

^we still have Spring Break right now(it’s late, but it’s better for AP).

I’m actually not planning on being absent, but if I do, I’ll just tell them that I’m staying home to study for AP exams. It’s a far more valid excuse than some of the other reasons people skip school.

^^Yea, I’m on break now too, and it’s helpful, such as the practice AP Chem test I’m taking.

Like Calico said, it’s not a bad idea to say that, especially if it’s only a day or two.

They’re just AP exams. How much do you really need to study for them?

@jraider: …

Lucky for me, I did actually get sick today.

@sd6

Seriously though, unless you are self-studying a course for the exams, you shouldn’t have to do much more than review what you’ve learned throughout the year.

^Wouldn’t it be great if I can pass AP exams by just reviewing what I’ve learned throughout the year:/? That would be so awesome. You see, the problem is, I don’t really remember learning about anything…

^So what’s the point of taking the course if you don’t remember anything anyway?

I actually wasn’t expecting to not remember anything when I signed up for the course. You see, it was not something I have planned beforehand.

Not all of us have excellent AP teachers, you have to think about that.

In my school, if you take less than 6 courses, you cannot be recognized as a student. You can’t even step on the premise actually.

My excuse: I’m an adult, I do what I want.
