In your opinion why is the transfer rate so high? (My sister, she goes to another school, said CofC has a very high transfer out and high transfer in rate. Is that correct? According to her CofC students either love it or hate it....??? And that you have to find your niche right away.......??)
I'm a guy and I think I want to join a frat.
Any thoughts? Comments? Or should I go to USC?

im not really sure why the transfer rate is so high- it might be because of what your sister said- you DO have to find a niche kind of quickly. It is important to remember that although CofC has a distinguishable campus, you still are in a city. Much of your social life will be going out with your little group of friends to various bars and clubs in the city, or frat parties off campus. There isn't as much dorm partying and sense of school spirit as there may be at other schools. But at the same time, it is very easy to find friends in the beginning due to the fact that everyone is new and searching for friends.

I have friends at USC who love it. But CofC is a great time too. Visit both and weigh your academic/financial options
