For me it was Yale

2.

my seconds were Yale or Columbia

Yale. A very close second, at that.

Yale. Distant second. Rejected :D

STANFORD....
It was so hard to turn it down- it was my early action school and just seemed like so much fun and so many chill people.
But I know Princeton is going to be amazing

Yale. or Northwestern.

Ecole Normale Sup

Williams college~! it was very hard to let it go...

My second choice was UPenn (rejected)

Duke/Yale/Wash-U

IU-Bremen- It's where i would have ended up had i been rejected at Princeton as well. Hypothetical second choices
MIT
Harvard
Caltech
Yale
Automatics College- Polytechnic University of Bucharest

Stanford.

It was very difficult to turn it down.

Yale. Very glad I never had to make the choice, it would have killed me.

harvard. pav were you taken at norm sup paris? nice, man!!!

axfr: no :D , but it would have been easy to get in Ecole Preparatoire with scolarship, and then, after 2 years...

I'm quite fond of Paris, so i will spend a year abroad there (i hope! :D )...

uhm, Brown. But they didn't take me into PLME.

In this order
1. Princeton
2. Williams
3. Columbia
4. Harvard-waitlisted
5. Amherst
6. Brown- rejected
7. Lafayette

Williams was hard for my son to turn down as he wants to major in Art History. Columbia had it's appeal for it's NYC location along with the proximity to the museums.

Yale (rej)
Brown (acptd)

nopoisonivy...your son had the same second choice as me..hehe it was really really tough for me to turn down williams also....the toughest decision of my life...

Penn .
