For the colleges that take MID YEAR reports, does that Mean they dont look at spring

grades? only fall grades matter, so really there is no point of getting all A's spring semester cuz the college never sees it???

"you should work hard until the end of the year because you love learning"
thats ideal

but for most, after 7 semesters of having their nose to the grindstone, they start to need a break.

You should still maintain a decent average in school, try to keep your A's and B's, even raise your grades. Admissions CAN be rescinded if your grades do not stay as good as they are. And it does happen.

How will the colleges see your spring semeste grades? Are you suppose to send a transcript after the spring semester is done/school's out?

"How will the colleges see your spring semeste grades? Are you suppose to send a transcript after the spring semester is done/school's out?"

Yes, acceptances are typically based on your completing your hs studies in good order. Acceptances have been withdrawn in the case of major slides.

Before you actually enroll, the college will require you to send another high school transcript that indicates you actually graduated and has all your grades on it, including spring semester. Most schools will not let you enroll without a final transcript. And as stated in #4, admission can be recinded if grades drop too much.

Can't speak for all colleges, but the university where I am expects to see your final grades--even if you've sent in 7th semester grades. Students who blew off their last term face some tough questions.
