Actually, that’s why I don’t think being Hispanic gives you much of an admissions boost any more. In fact, in the Hispanic-dominated areas (the states that were formerly part of Mexico as well as FL), it probably doesn’t give you an admissions boost at all. If you’re Hispanic and you want an admissions boost, you probably have to apply to lily-white LACs situated in the rural Midwest.</p>
