Hello, I know I've done this a trillion times but I never get any responses!! So here it goes..

White, Female, NY, from a prestigious public school.

GPA: 94/100
(my school doesn't tell us if it's weighted/unweighted so I don't really know..)
SAT: 1260/1940
(CR: 630 M: 630 W: 680)
SAT2 MATH1: 680
SAT2 MATH2: 670
SAT2 USH: 650
ACT (3): 27, 28, 28
(if they were to superscore all of my ACTs it'd be a 30- E: 33, M: 32, R: 29 S: 26)

I have a lot of Extracurricular Activities (almost 3 pages) and I can't list them all but some highlights are:
President of the Students Against Violence Everywhere club
Treasurer of Art Club
JV Boys Lacrosse Manager
Newspaper Entertainment Writer
Organized many school events
Sunday School Teacher (5 years)
Traveled to a different country to volunteer during one summer

AWARDS
National Honors Society
National Spanish Honors society
AP Scholar Award
Honor Roll for every semester

Essay: Pretty good (I think). It's about diversity =)

Schools I'm applying to:
New York University (ED)
Boston College
Boston University
LeHigh University
Villanova University (EA)
Syracuse University
American University
George Washington University
Fordham University (EA)

Other schools I'm thinking about (to try my luck):
Georgetown University
Cornell University - (only if I send a portfolio for one of their majors)
Brown University
Bucknell University
UNC Chapel Hill

New York University (ED)- decent
Boston College - reach
Boston University - decent
LeHigh University- decent
Villanova University (EA) - n/a
Syracuse University - decent
American University - very good chance
George Washington University - decent
Fordham University (EA) - decent
Georgetown University - reach
Cornell University - (only if I send a portfolio for one of their majors)- reach
Brown University- reach
Bucknell University - n/a
UNC Chapel Hill - reach

New York University (ED)- low/mid-range reach
Boston College- mid-range reach
Boston University- high match
LeHigh University- match
Villanova University (EA)- match
Syracuse University- match
American University- match
George Washington University- match
Fordham University (EA)- match
Georgetown University- reach
Cornell University- reach
Brown University- high reach
Bucknell University- high match
UNC Chapel Hill- low reach

NYU: High Match (I think the ED boosts your chances)
BC: Reach
Villanova: Match/High Match
BU: Match

Those are the ones I really could accurately chance you on.

For the other schools you are thinking about…I hate to say it but I’m going to be honest, you have a very slim chance at Georgetown, Cornell, and Brown. Your GPA and test scores are too low for those schools’ acceptance standards. You might have a chance at UNC, if you are in-state.

New York University (ED)- HIGH REACH… really don’t underestimate the school. Your SAT kinda brought your chance down… but then i can’t make up my mind… your Ec and rest are actually pretty good in my opinion.
Boston College - reach
Boston University - match
LeHigh University- idk
Villanova University (EA) - idk
Syracuse University - match
American University - idk
George Washington University - low reach to good match
Fordham University (EA) - idk
Georgetown University - HIGH REACH
Cornell University - (only if I send a portfolio for one of their majors)- Unreasonably high reach… your sat’s again…
Brown University- unreasonably high reach
Bucknell University - idk
UNC Chapel Hill - idk
but be optimistic. Thats why your applying… because your KNOW that you have a chance. I have to emphasize, however, that your ECs and stats are great
chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/810722-please-chance-me-these-colleges.html

The ACT, superscored, is solid for most of your schools; GPA is a little weak, but transcript is very strong; EC’s are solid, and recs/essays always bolster the app Here are my chances:
New York University (ED): Reasonable Reach
Boston College: Reasonable-BIG Reach
Boston University: In
Lehigh University: Low-Reasonable Reach
Villanova University (EA): Reasonable Reach
Syracuse University: In
American University: In
George Washington University: Low Reach
Fordham University (EA): In

As of the other 5 that you were considering, definitely go for Bucknell (reasonable reach) and Cornell as a long-shot; the rest are just too big of a reach

Hope this helps!! plz Chance me back (2.0 thread)!

Again, thanks you guys! I know my scores and gpa aren’t perfect but I don’t think they are low by any means. My sat/act scores are above average and my gpa is pretty good for the classes I’ve taken. Granted they are not perfect or the highest but they are not that weak either.

But thanks for your insight, I truly appreciate it!

New York University: 3
Boston College: 2
Boston University: 2.5
LeHigh University: idk
Villanova University: idk
Syracuse University: 2
American University: 2.5
George Washington University: 3.5
Fordham UniversityL idk

Other schools I’m thinking about (to try my luck):
Georgetown University: 3
Cornell University: 4
Brown University: 5
Bucknell University: idk
UNC Chapel Hill: 4.5 (lots of comp. and they don’t like to take in out-of-staters)
