If one has, hypothetically speaking, stats like

June 09: CR: 500 M:800 W:580 -- 1880
October 10: CR: 770 M:750 W:760 -- 2280

Should this person submit the June 09 as well to a college that accepts Score Choice to get the 50 extra points even though the CR and W in the first take are horrific.

The colleges I'm talking about are UofChicago, Dartmouth, and Brown.

Yes this showed immense improvement… shows that you are motivated etc…and tha tu got a bit lazy on Math section 2nd time lol

^I wouldn’t say he/she got lazy on math. The difference between a 750 and 800 is usually just two questions.

OP: I would send them both.

Please, please listen to me when I say: do not send both.

A lot of selective colleges require you to send all test scores for a reason: they want to see how many tries you took to achieve your score (and can you blame them?).

Whether it is true in actuality or not, the enormous jumps in your score will probably suggest an obsessive amount of preparation between tests. An extra 50 points on Math is absolutely not worth the risk.

If you’re confident you have a shot at an 800 in Math now, go ahead and retake the test again, if you want.

if you have to send all scores…then do you have a choice not to send it anyways???
