Can u plz tell me ur stats....that will be help me very much
THX!

rank: 3/477
sat: 2310

If you are top 2.5% or so you are in.

thx...Feladis, do u any1 instate that got in w/o having such a high % cuz I am only in the 6% cuz my school has 1400 students. LOL

not true...my friend was 3/499 and didn't get in.

Are you serious? That's weird.. the top 1% who apply are automatically accepted as long as their applications are complete. So maybe he didn't answer an essay question or something..

top 5% in class..ACT 33.

WOw, that is weird....cuz inskeletonrock's friend could have also gotten into BHP

9/532
sat 2250

meegrace and shutterbug312, r u both in BHP?

didn't apply. applied to Plan II Honors- don't have that decision yet.

21/576
Act:31

Dash41, u instate?

if ur rank isn't good, how can u redeem ur chances of getting in?

good extracurriculars, leadership, high scores- holistically

you compete against other students for the remaining quarter of spots if rank doesn't get you in.

To reloadedxp, yes, I'm instate. But really, should it matter? My rank wasn't good enough to get me in automatically I don't think.

My friend is 26/555, has like a 2010 SAT, and has a crapload of extracurriculars and volunteer activities and she got in.

i spoke with one of the UT admission counselors the other day, and she told me that the automatic acceptance cutoff by rank for mccombs is around 3%. Otherwise, good test scores, extracurriculars, and leadership should help. I applied for BHP and I just had my phone interview. I hope I make it.

Good Luck Meegracee!

Thank you! Did you apply for BHP also?

No No....I am still on High School (junior). I am just looking at stats to see where I should be when I apply next year :)
