For the US Naval Academy

Hi, I am a senior from NJ and I would like to know if I have a chance to go to the naval academy. I am of filipino descent, which apparently is a plus according to my bgo, since i’m the first filipino he’s ever encountered in his years of being a bgo. I have a 3.97W GPA and a 3.7UW GPA. I took everything honors except english until my junior year, and I didn’t take any AP’s until my senior year. The 3 APs are calc ab, physics c mechanics, and psychology. My SAT score is horrible, at 1540 composite with a 590 math 490 reading 460 writing. I recently retook the SAT so I hope that goes up. I also took the ACT and got a 26 composite with a 29 math and 28 writing. I am in an AFJROTC unit and I am ranked as a cadet 1st Lieutenant. My job is the color guard commander and plans officer. This year is my second year in the program. I also play in my school’s honor wind ensemble as a bass clarinet player and last year I was first chair of the clarinet section. I have volunteered by helping out with the taekwondo school i used to go to along with various community service events in JROTC and with church, playing the drums/guitar and being a Sunday school teacher. For the physical aspect, I ran track all 4 years of high school, and I lettered my sophomore and junior year for both winter and spring. My team made it to sectionals, but were disqualified soon after. This year I will see if I can captain the track team this year.

This isn’t the full picture but this is a basic breakdown of who I am. What will my chances be
