when did you guys find out of you were accepted or not? do they put this on their website?

I heard late last week about two days after my midterm grades were posted as having been received.

The decision appears on your Minerva account where you can check the status of your application. Mine was "Accepted pending final grades".

About a day after my decision was posted, I got a e-mail from McGill that sounded pretty formal and ominous telling me that a decision had been reached and directing me to check Minerva. No "Congratulations" or anything like that just a notification that there was a decision. If I didn't already know the decision, the tone of the e-mail would have made me think I was rejected.

i didn't even get an email notification... but i did get an email from the International Students Services sending me pdf files of their "pre-departure guide" and their "parents' guide". Then a day or two after, my official accpetance letter came in the mail. lol, i guess McGill doesn't do the whole pomp and circumstance that comes with being accepted, because my letter came in a small envelope. And yes, i admit i was a lil' bit disappointed bcoz i saw my cousin's acceptance letter to UC Berkeley and it looks like it was ready to be framed and hung up in his office.
But i really have no right to complain... i was accepted, YAY! ^_^
