Typically ACT scores prior to 9th grade are purged. However if you wanted to keep a score and send it to colleges would you have the option of doing so? Since some colleges superscore, would it be a good idea to keep a high score achieved prior to HS?
All this agony. If you can’t beat your pre HS score that doesn’t look good. I’d forget it and take as usual, I don’t see any point. But please await answers to those in the know.
@BrownParent Agony? What agony? Simple question. It’s for my S not me. He may beat his pre high
school score(33) but he won’t be able to top a 36 in English for example of schools that superscore.
Can you see any downside to keeping the score?
@moscott: You may wish to read each university’s undergraduate admissions’ website with care. Some institutions specifically indicate that they do no wish to receive any pre-high school standardized test results.
@TopTier Thanks. Something to be aware of for sure.
