For those interested in UCB.

Hey guys, for those of you who haven't already joined this site, this can be extremely helpful. I just joined today and it's really informative! You can customize your own home page to your majors, interests, financial aid, career help, greek life, pretty much anything at UCB! I can't believe I've never known about this or joined. Here's the site:

<a href="http://students.berkeley.edu/admissions/general.asp?id=5137%5B/url%5D">http://students.berkeley.edu/admissions/general.asp?id=5137</a></p>

Go there, then click: Request more information (beneath where it says: You have graduated from high school and have or will have completed etc.....)

From there just make your account and then customize your page to your major, interests, and everything.

If everyone here has already done this and is way ahead of me, then I apologize, but for those that haven't, I hope this has helped!

Best of luck to everyone!

Wow thanks for posting this!

I signed up awhile ago. It hasn’t done anything. Maybe it’ll help later, like when I apply or something, but right now it’s been pretty useless. Let me know if it’s helpful for any of you though.

No problem Koreo, glad it helped! Cantabilen, maybe it’s different for people that haven’t applied yet? I’m unsure. However, I think it’s probably the same, and I find it to be pretty helpful. They have solid videos (an entire free and exclusive archive to those registered with this) that discuss various topics in detail. For example, they have a video sub-section in the archive that is specific to UCB transfers and prospective transfers. There’s solid advice, detailed CalDay info, career help, detailed descriptions and links for both the Psych and Phil departments.

You can even read descriptions of each fraternity. I don’t know if you have any interest in that, but I was bored and just checking them out last night lol.

Anyways, it’ll be a nice resource to have in general.

I went to one of the events listed on this site and when I was there I found out two of the admissions officers from letters and science share an IM which allowed me to ask them questions at any time, which was really helpful. They’ve stopped for this time around but for those of you applying in future semesters, I recommend it.
