For those of us not attending Princeton

Well guys, where did you end up attending? Princeton was my top pick but turned me down. I ended up getting into Yale and Wharton LSM, and I very happily picked Wharton. Though, in my heart, I always will yearn to be a TIGER = D.

Caltech and waiting for Princeton WL :)

Stanford! And judging by the current Princeton v. Stanford thread, boy did I make the right choice. What a bunch of prigs and snobs.

GN101, no need for irrational vitriol lending support to and therefore retroactively justifying a decision that you already made. Remember, there are just as many people thinking about how Princeton was the right choice over Stanford (e.g. me), over Harvard, over UofM, over what have you.

Guess what you sound like right now.

Go read that thread and tell me I’m wrong to characterize a number of the participants that way.

GenericName, good luck at Stanford

I am sure that you will enjoy it.

now

would you mind pointing out the posted messages from the Stanford/Princeton thread that caused you to call Princetonians “What a bunch of prigs and snobs.”?

thanks

Ahhh, I really wish I could go to Princeton. Got into Stanford and Yale(going here), but rejected by Princeton </3, hence I’m posting in this thread. Princeton was my favorite.

Squirtle, I’m sorry that you didn’t get into Princeton, but obviously Yale is Yale. Good luck.

You’re wrong to characterize a number of the participants that way.

This is pointless.

GN101 can enjoy him/herself at Stanford. There’s no point in feeding an outlandish generalization like that.

Meanwhile, I’ll be at Princeton enjoying myself with the 99% of students who aren’t snobs.

Gee whiz, Tigers, I’m sorry I brought it up. One quote and I’ll stop. From icalculus on the P v. S thread:

I like Princeton because I can be a snob about it. “Where do you go to school?” clears throat, assumes graceful posture “Princeton.” It sounds elitist and exclusive and I love that(even though people may label you as a ****** bag) . Bite me.

Stanford is cool, but its name doesn’t have that same “in your face motha****a, I’m better than you” sound to it.

I’m sure most Tigers are very nice and it is a great school.

I always thought iCalculus was a ■■■■■…
But I sort of agree with you. People have been acting really defensive about Princeton lately as if they have to prove their superiority to someone.

To quote iCalculus-

"Nope, I’m an outside observer/college picker "

He’s not a student there. Don’t take his comments seriously.

GenericName, good one:

Rice U and WL @ Princeton

Desperately want that Princeton spot >.<

Duke and same situation as computergeek…

Duke for me too!

Duke here as well

Duke, me 4! Lol nah jk haha

Well, I’m seriously going to Duke. Though I got into Princeton, I realized that I’d rather go to Duke.

So me 4!
